The Center for Behavioral Neuroscience and the Center for Translational Research in Neuroimaging & Data Science joined more than 100 STEM exhibitors at this year’s Atlanta Science Festival’s Exploration Expo, transforming Piedmont Park into a hub of hands‑on discovery for families across the region. The Expo, Atlanta’s largest interactive science event, draws tens of thousands of visitors annually and showcases the city’s vibrant scientific community through immersive, curiosity‑driven activities.

Throughout the day, more than 600 visitors stopped by the GSU booth to explore the brain as both a thinking and feeling organ. Volunteers guided students and parents through interactive demonstrations that highlighted how the brain processes information, emotions, and experiences.
